Our International Study Abroad Program provides learners in Years 5–12 with the opportunity to experience a high-quality South Australian education and immerse themselves in Australian school life for periods ranging from 5 weeks to 12 months. Designed for learners who wish to study abroad without completing graduation requirements, the program offers a flexible and personalised learning experience within a welcoming and supportive college environment.
International learners stay with local host families and become part of both the college and wider community while developing their English language skills, cultural understanding and global connections.
Learners are able to participate in a wide range of classes, camps, excursions and cultural experiences throughout their stay. Timetables can be tailored to suit individual interests, subject preferences and learning goals, allowing learners to make the most of their Australian education experience.

Learners are expected to:
Devices should be stored safely in lockers during breaks and transported carefully to and from college.
Families join the laptop program by signing a purchase agreement.
It includes:
Laptops are issued during Term 1 rollout sessions or individually upon enrolment.
The device remains college property until paid in full.
Families who cannot commit to a purchase option may apply for a Loan Laptop Agreement.
Loan devices:
This option ensures equitable access while maintaining device consistency.
Each device will be equipped with a range of approved apps configured for use on the College’s network. Additional approved apps may be deployed as needed to support the curriculum. Apps may also be uninstalled without notice.
App installation restrictions will be set on the device, but additional software may be made available by the College through a self-service app (Company Portal) and installed as needed. Some key applications are as follows:

Non-educational software or games are not to be installed on the laptop. Situations where learners are using non-educational software, games and files at college will be addressed as per the Device Use and Agreement Protocols. Parents are encouraged to regularly monitor the contents of devices.
The laptops purchased by the college will have the same specifications to assist in the management of hardware, software and teaching and learning.

Our 1-to-1 Laptop Program ensures every secondary learner has access to a reliable, high-quality device for learning. Using one consistent device model supports our vision for equitable, innovative learning and enables teachers to work more effectively with the same tools their learners use.

Families can access the college’s 1-to-1 Laptop Program by signing a purchase agreement, securing a laptop for their child.
Agreements are structured to offer financial flexibility, with the option to pay in manageable instalments across the learner’s secondary years. Laptops remain managed and owned by the college until paid in full.
We understand that circumstances don’t always allow for this commitment. Options exist to complete an agreement to access a loan laptop under certain conditions

iPads are powerful, easy to use and versatile. They are designed for a variety of purposes that make them a valuable part of the learning activities at the college.
– Preschool – Year 2: Shared iPads which remain at the college. These devices are owned by the college.
– Years 3 – 6: 1:1 iPads which remain at the college. These devices are owned by the college.

All iPads are owned by the college and are provided at no cost.
Definitions
Shared iPads can have multiple users sign in and out of the same iPad. These iPads can’t be taken home. These iPads are charged in charging cabinets or trolleys located around the college.
1-to-1 iPads are for individual use and can only have one user. Currently used by years 3 to 6 and the iPads remain at the college in their specified charging cart.
Generic iPads are for general shared use and are usually configured to fulfil a specific requirement or need.
